MY PREVIOUS FAVORITE

A few months ago, I ran out of my last bit of anti-dandruff shampoo by the brand Alpecin. By this time, I might have had purchased about 5 or 6 bottles of this and I thought this was going to be the only shampoo I’d use for the rest of my life. Here’s my review to this shampoo if you’d want to check it out – here

WHY THE CHANGE?

But over the past few months because of rising petrol prices, and the overall inflation I saw the price of this seep up to a whopping AED. 65 – which used to be available in the range between AED.44 to AED.48 earlier and I was not going to spend a 40% price increase on a product that I regularly buy.

ALTERNATIVE CHOICES

So, I sought an alternative. A kind friend suggested – Selsun Anti Dandruff Shampoo, but this was only available online and with the delivery charges, it would amount to just as much. And I really was looking for a cost-effective option this time. The ultimate cost-effective anti dandruff solution of course has to be Head and Shoulders – but while it is good at fighting dandruff, it didn’t do my hair any good. My hair never felt fresh while I used it.

FINAL CHOICE

So, then I came across the Sebamed Anti Dandruff Shampoo. I have loved Sebamed as a brand. It has some great products. Here’s my review to its Extreme Dry Skin Repair Lotion.

The shampoo has been effective in keeping my dandruff at bay. However, I think the best way to go about this review is to compare it with the Alpecin Anti Dandruff Shampoo. So here it goes –
